Thank you for visitng my site. I am an artist and mother of two. I have not lost a child, but it is my biggest
fear--one that is always there in the back of my mind. It is that fear that continuously shows up in my work.
I could never have imagined that I would feel this kind of need to creat such an open, community work based on that fear. I
decided to base my graduate show on that fear, as well to create a place for mothers to go and leave their prayers,
pain and fears...and all others who share that pain with them.
I completed the Masters of Visual Studies program at Cardinal Stritch University. I also teach elementary art full-time
in the North Shore of MIlwaukee. As any parent knows, having children is a juggling act with all the other responsiblities
life gives, even more so when you work full-time. However, it has been the most rewarding choice I have ever made.
I am thankful for every day I have with my children, and make it a point to never say "I can't wait until..."
